'Leaves absolutely no residue': This liquid-free screen cleaner is down to $13 at Amazon — that's 50% off

The reusable iRoller easily removes dust and fingerprints from smartphones, tablets and more, fans say.

It's sad but true: I'm always in front of some sort of screen. During work hours, I sit in front of my computer. After work, my TV is almost always on. And don't get me started on my phone — it's always right at my side. Yet, while they get a lot of use, I hardly ever clean my screens! I'll wipe my phone off here and there, but I'd be embarrassed to show you my laptop and all the fingerprints it's collected. If you're in a similar boat, there's a tool called the iRoller that keeps your screens smudge-free, and it's 50% off at Amazon.

The roller comes with a compact case, making it easy to toss in your bag for quick on-the-go cleanups.

Why is this a good deal? ??

First of all, this little device is nearly half off, making it just $13. On top of that, it doesn't go on sale that often — and when it does, the price isn't usually this low. In the last 12 months, it's only gone on sale once for less than its current price.

Why do I need this? ??

The iRoller is a liquid-free, reusable cleaner that removes dust, debris, fingerprints and more from phones, laptops and other touchscreens. It has a unique grippy roller that you can glide over your screen, and voila! It's smudge-free. Simply open the case, place the roller on your screen and gently press down as you roll it back and forth. Think of it like a lint roller, but for screens.

The grippy part comes in a pocket-sized case that's only 3.5 inches long, so you can take it with you wherever you go. When you're done, you can rinse it with water and let it sit upright to dry. It's so simple, you'll wish you thought of it!

Of course, you may be tempted to clean your phone, iPad or another touchscreen with a little household cleaner. However, some disinfectants and strong solvents like Windex may damage screens. Not to mention, you put your phone up to your face — would you really want to rub something like that on your cheek? This chemical-free tool can help you avoid all of that.

What reviewers say ??

More than 2,400 Amazon shoppers give the iRoller a perfect five-star rating. They love that it's no-fuss, simple to use and does what it advertises — clean!

Pros ??

"I love this screen cleaner because it leaves absolutely no residue, just a clean screen that feels amazing," wrote one five-star fan. "It picks up lint, dust, hair, and fingerprints. Clean it when it starts to not pick up as much or clean as well. It's very easy and fast to clean it. By far my favorite and most used iPad accessory — would definitely recommend. This works much better than any of the liquid cleaners I have tried."

One shopper shared they use it on more than their phone. "I use this thing on all of my tablets, watch, phone and Kindle, and it's worked for years!" they said. "You can tell when it needs to be rinsed off, you can see specks on the roller. Just use water — soap leaves a fatty film on the rubber and defeats the stickiness of the surface."

"This is something everyone with a phone or tablet needs," added another fan. "Will be going on my gift-giving list. This item is a winner."

Cons ??

Some buyers shared that they think washing the roller and removing the dust and oil it picks up takes a little time. Plus, they don't love that you have to let the roller air dry.

"This roller is excellent to clean your TV screen, PC screen, smartphone, etc. However, be careful when washing it, as it takes patience to remove all the dust particles the roller picks up," shared this reviewer.

"It works, however, you have to clean it a lot and let it dry for a long time because you can't wipe it off after rinsing it. It's a sticky material," said a final shopper.

Step away from the household cleaner — this roller won't damage your screen, and it can be used over and over again.
