Lego's 2024 advent calendars have landed on Amazon — and they'll go fast

From Harry Potter to Disney princesses — and the No. 1 bestselling Star Wars set — this year's lineup has a countdown for every brick master.

Lego advent calendars - Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel Spider-Man
Kids (and kids at heart) can count down to Christmas one brick at a time. (Amazon)

December is still a ways away, but this year's advent calendars are already hitting — and flying off — the shelves. There's the jam-filled one from Bonne Maman that's spreading cheer (albeit a bit prematurely). And the highly-anticipated releases from Charlotte Tilbury, Benefit and more beloved beauty brands. But now, Lego is joining in the holly, jolly fun with six all-new advent calendars for the 2024 season.

All 24-day countdowns have a mix of minifigures and easy builds, designed with young builders in mind (starting at ages five and up). Each one is tied to a specific theme — Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney princesses, Marvel's Spider-Man, to name a few. You'll find little nods to the season in each set whether it's with sweater-clad versions of your favorite characters (Princess Leia really nails the ugly Christmas game), spirited decorations or glimmers of snow.

Peeking behind each door to find a new build is such a thrill, but perhaps the best part is the fact that the imaginative fun can continue well into the new year. Consider these advent calendars the gift(s) that keeps on giving!

And if you're thinking that it's way too early to get in the yuletide spirit, think again. If history repeats itself (and the odds are looking good), then Lego's advent calendars will sell out before December rolls around. So, if you want to ensure that all the brick masters in your life — your kid, brother, husband, wife, anyone — have a very merry Christmas, then you'll want to snag one ASAP.

Star Wars superfans will transport themselves to a galaxy far, far away as they build 24 mini versions of classic Lego models, including the X-wing from 1999 and The Crimson Firehawk from earlier this year. You'll get the most bang for your buck with this one — this year's set has 368 pieces, which is nearly 50 more than last year's.

Let Elsa, Tiana, Ariel, Mirabel, Moana and some of their pals join in on the holiday fun. Build a small scene for each princess — Ariel's undersea palace and Moana's boat, for example — then flip over the box to play the built-in board game with up to five players.
