Lele Pons is 'liberated' as she proudly shows off her cellulite
Lele Pons is letting the world know how sexy cellulite can be.
Over the weekend, the Venezuelan beauty, 25, posted mirror selfies in which she's posing in a swimsuit and showing off cellulite on her thigh. In the images, the YouTube personality’s legs are on full display as she writes simply in the caption: “#cellulite.”
The photos were widely praised by her 48.5 million Instagram followers, with one writing, “That actually makes me feel better because SAME SIS SAME.”
“Girl this is still hot,” a commenter wrote with another adding, “Liberated ??.”
“You are an awesome person inside and outside,” a fan said.
“Thank you, that's the real social media ????," wrote another.
Pons has been unafraid to showcase her cellulite in the past, as well. Earlier this year, the internet personality showed off her backside on Instagram while encouraging her followers to “embrace your cellulite.”
“I’ve always been super insecure when it comes to my cellulite!” she wrote at the time. “I try to hide it as much as i can and edit them out…. But today im not gonna do it! This is my natural self. Who cares if others judge… Embrace who you are and be confident????.”
She has also made it her mission to educate others about mental health and wellness. Last year, during E!'s Ones to Watch video series in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the star was very open about her OCD and Tourette's Syndrome diagnoses.
"I am very, very grateful to have helped a lot of people, grateful to have had the chance to educate people who don't know what OCD and Tourette's are," she said at the time.
She continued, "It's very important to actually also push people to get better, take their medicine, go to get help, go to get a good support system, to help parents understand their kids have whatever they have, help to understand that it is not something that's going to define you. It's not something you should be ashamed about. And I wanted to show that to everybody."
