This Leonardo DiCaprio Flick Just Hit #8 on Netflix's Most-Watched List (& It's a Good One)
Set in the 1960s, the film follows Frank Abagnale Jr., a teenager who runs away from home and successfully impersonates a doctor, a lawyer and an airline pilot. He also uses his impressive forgery skills to cash fraudulent checks that are worth millions of dollars. And while Carl Hanratty, an FBI Agent, is determined to bring him down, it seems like Frank is always two steps ahead.
The movie is based on the true story of con artist Frank Abagnale, who, like in the movie, managed to get away with a number of successful cons (including posing as a doctor) before he turned 19.
Catch Me If You Can was directed and produced by Steven Spielberg. It stars DiCaprio as Frank Abagnale and Tom Hanks as Carl Hanratty. Christopher Walken, Martin Sheen and Nathalie Baye also star.
We may or may not have seen this movie multiple times, but it's definitely worth another watch.
