Library offering books, totes for sale this weekend
May 2—A book sale of unique, older and local interest items will be held this weekend by the Friends of the St. Joseph Public Library.
Most of the approximately 2,000 books in the sale have been donated to the library, with some coming from the library collection.
The sale from Saturday through Monday, May 4 through 6, will be at the Downtown Library, 927 Felix St., on the lower level. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. Prices will be discounted on the last day of the sale.
The books cover a variety of subjects and include novels, children's books, local interest and nonfiction. Items are priced at $2 and up. Cash, checks and credit are accepted. Library/book themed canvas tote bags also will be for sale for $10 each.
