Lil’ Kim Dressed Like a Rapper Bride for the ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’ Premiere
Whether it’s a pasty for her nipple or two backup outfits, Lil’ Kim always comes correct. Last night, the rapper dropped jaws on the red carpet for the Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop premiere at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival in a sexy-bride-worthy ensemble, and two costume changes throughout the night.
First was a tight sheer white lace jumpsuit with long sleeves and a tied-on tulle piece that acted as a skirt/train. She paired it with gold thigh-high peep-toe lace-up boots. Uncharacteristically conservative for the rapper, she wore a bodysuit underneath. While she is sometimes referred to as the Queen Bee of rap, Kim looks much more like the bride of rap here. Her long blond hair was styled down in loose waves. For jewelry, she wore an ornate silver beaded choker and silver hoops.
She took the stage with Diddy to perform in honor of the documentary, which is about the history of the Bad Boy label and the buildup to its reunion concert. For one performance, she switched into a different jumpsuit, this time a velvet black number that was also skintight with long sleeves, but featured a geometric pattern. She accessorized with lots of chains, including a heavy-looking draping necklace she took off at one point, and a thick black belt around her waist. She stomped around onstage in black-and-gold heeled sandals.
Her third outfit was a crazy and more appropriate upgrade from the first — a bedazzled white leotard with long sleeves, cutouts, chains dangling off it, and a wide open neckline that would have exposed her nipples had it not been for a nude strappy unitard she wore underneath. However, that was also pretty sheer, so it was good thing she was wearing a bra underneath. That’s a lot of layers. And even with that many layers, she still managed to look supersexy. It was sort of like the outfit the rapper bride slips (or squeezes) into at the end of the night.
