Lindsay Lohan's Mom Dina Shares Daughter's Baby Came 'Early'
Lindsay Lohan officially became a first-time mother this month after welcoming her first child with husband Bader Shammas, and now her own mom, Dina Lohan, is sharing a bit about the actress' birth.
“We are so blessed and overjoyed and filled with so much love,” Dina told Us Weekly of her new grandchild, adding that the babe, a boy the couple named Luai Shammas, arrived "two days early."
It was previously revealed to the outlet via a source that the Get a Clue star was due sometime in July, though an exact date was never communicated—but if you know anything about childbirth, who ever really knows when the baby is going to make its grand entrance, anyway? After all, only 5% of babies are born on their "due dates," according to Sanford Health, thus the reason it is merely an estimation.
The 60-year-old mother of four also noted that she had plans to travel to Dubai before Lindsay gave birth, but apparently didn't make it in time, since “he decided to come early to join us sooner.”
Lohan delivered the newborn in Dubai on Monday, July 17, with her rep noting, "The family is over the moon in love."
Lohan first announced she was pregnant on March 14, 2023, when she posted a photo of a onesie that read "Coming Soon..." on Instagram.
As Parade previously reported, the Mean Girls actress gave fans a sneak peek at the little one's room just days ago.
"So excited to show you my nursery & the collection I designed with @nestigbaby! Everything is inspired by the beach and is so peaceful and playful ??. I loved working with @nestigbaby to create my dream nursery—everything is handmade and perfect for any little one in your life!" she shared on social media on July 12.
Sending warm and well wishes to the whole family now that the new addition has joined the crew!
