How Lisa Rinna, 56, Stays So Freaking Fit
Long before it was a *thing*, Lisa Rinna was a bonafide fitness influencer...and she has the receipts to prove it. The 56-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has been sharing some throwback footage of her workout vids from the early aughts on her Instagram as of late, and we are here for it! Let me tell you, they're all the proof you need that Lisa has been working hard for her bod for decades.
So, exactly how does she do it? “For me, staying in shape has always been a part of my life and it’s all about consistency,” she told OWN. "Luckily, I was born with good genes, first and foremost, and I know that, [but] I started working out at a very young age—I played competitive tennis—and I've worked out my whole life."
Exercise is such an important part of Lisa's day to day that she says, it's like brushing her teeth. In other words, it's a habit, or rather, a hobby she is super passionate about. "Through the years I've done every workout known to man," she says. But after so many sweat tests, she's now really fine-tuned her fitness routine to just a few go-tos. Clearly it's working for her.
Keep reading to see the workouts Lisa Rinna swears by for staying healthy and getting those abs!
1) Lisa's main workout is yoga.
"I have a really strong yoga practice," she told OWN. "For my body type, that really works, and then I throw in a SoulCycle class or a hike." Lisa told Us Weekly that she's been practicing yoga for 26 years. “[It's] been the most helpful in keeping myself grounded and somewhat sane.”
2) She's also a dancing machine.
While Lisa loves SoulCycle, spinning isn't her only form of cardio. She's been known to bust a move, whether it's in her bedroom creating TikTok dances or learning full-blown choreography like she did when she appeared on Dancing With The Stars. “In our house everybody is always dancing around and singing," she told Parade.
3) She's a big fan of butt workouts.
Lisa recently got cheeky in her Instagram stories by showing off her bum to promote an IG Live with trainer Isaac Boots, whose Torch'd class she credits for keeping her glutes strong and sculpted. "This is my a** after six weeks of his class," she captioned her photo. Her results were just peachy. ??
If you're not watching her throwback workout videos on Instagram, you're missing out.
