A-list celebrity mom Gwyneth Paltrow honored at benefit for low-income children
Celebrity moms (and others) came out last night in full regalia for the annual Baby2Baby Gala. Benefiting low-income children from birth through 12 years old with diapers, clothes, and other essentials, the Baby2Baby organization hosts an annual event to highlight its supporters and bestow honors upon a notable mom.
This year’s honoree was Gwyneth Paltrow. The 45-year-old actor and Goop entrepreneur was given the organization’s Giving Tree award, which recognizes a notable mom and her efforts advocate for low-income children.
Baby2Baby’s co-presidents detailed Paltrow’s dedication to the spirt of Baby2Baby: “Throughout Gwyneth’s long history of philanthropic work, she has been a champion of issues ranging from improving education, to fighting poverty, to combating hunger in underserved communities,” said Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof.
Previous honorees have included Kerry Washington, Jennifer Garner, and Jessica Alba, among others.
Speaking of Alba, she was present in the group of A-listers at the Baby2Baby event, together with the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Jessica Biel, Jaime King, Zoe Saldana, Kelly Rowland, Kristen Bell, and a whole host of other glamorous, gorgeous, celebrity moms (and others, of course).
Jessica Biel stood out in her sheer, see-through dress, revealing a two-piece ensemble beneath.
Zoe Saldana’s elegant black ensemble was far from basic.
Kristen Bell opted for a high-shoulder, powder-blue gown with a plunging neckline.
Kelly Rowland looked graceful in cream and lace.
Chrissy Teigen struck a bold figure in an all-red outfit.
