Black Panther, one of the biggest blockbusters in history, stars Michael B. Jordan as the bad guy you couldnā€™t help but cheer for (at least a little bit). So, for celebrity look-alike day at school, parents Kiona Sherman and LeĆ© Jefferson dressed up their adorable 8-year-old son as Jordanā€™s Black Panther character, Erik Killmonger. All hail the little king!

Third grader Jahcir rocked the characterā€™s look: A jean jacket, white T-shirt, black pants and sneakers, and similar necklaces. His hair is styled the same, with a faux beard (possibly thanks to a bit of mascara) and round glasses.

Jefferson tells Yahoo Lifestyle the look was put together in less than 30 minutes.

ā€œIt was almost effortless. He had already been growing his hair for over a year now, and it was the perfect length to re-create the hairstyle,ā€ says Jefferson. ā€œWe were so inspired by the Black Panther movie that we had to do mini Killmonger.ā€

Jefferson says everyone at Jahcirā€™s school knew exactly who he was as soon as he arrived. He is even being recognized in public as the ā€œKillmonger kid.ā€

Online commenters couldnā€™t help but notice the striking resemblance too.

ā€œThis is sooo cute. Such a good job. I knew exactly who it was,ā€ wrote a commenter. ā€œHe looks just like him,ā€ added another.

The photo has made its rounds on different popular Instagram accounts. And it seems that Jahcirā€™s costume has gotten the approval of the real Killmonger himself.

Jefferson adds: ā€œWe were all ecstatic to know Michael B. Jordan had seen the post and was kind enough to like it.ā€

Wakanda forever!
