Little Boy Was Inspired by 'RuPaul's Drag Race' to Apply Makeup
A mom in the Philippines took to Twitter to show the adorable way that her son was inspired by the show RuPaul’s Drag Race.
In a series of tweets posted Tuesday night, Mikli Feria Jorge‘s little boy, Kito, was seen getting into some of her eyeshadow palettes and playfully applying the pigments to his face. “I want to do that also!” Jorge quoted her son saying, after they had watched an episode of the show the night before.

The initial tweet was followed up with a series of other photos showing Kito’s full transformation, complete with winged liner, lipstick, and a gorgeous red dress. But when his mom told him how beautiful he looked, he mentioned that he still needed a wig.
He had me do his wings, insisted on eyelashes, ate carefully to not ruin his lipstick, &
Me: You're beautiful!
K: Ma, we need to buy a wig. pic.twitter.com/eAsq6ZaTvZ— Mikli Feria Jorge (@hiddenmikli) July 5, 2017
Kito ultimately convinced Jorge to get involved after he assigned them both drag names — his being Ballooni Liteg and hers Cat Astrfi — along with a drawing of their drag personas.

All of the photos of the two in full glam are just as cute as the pure joy exuding from Kito. But, unsurprisingly, not all in the replies agree. Instead, people took offense to the idea of exposing the child to drag queens at his age. The terribly harsh reactions involve Jorge being called out for being a bad mom.
You're destroying this boys life, before it even gets started. Parenting isn't for everyone – clearly. #Legend

Why isn't this considered child abuse? This child is damaged forever.

I'm willing to bet that this woman is a single mother.

I'm just wondering at what time did it become ok to normalize a child this young to aspire being in drag?

People throughout the Twitterverse luckily came to Jorge’s rescue to put the shamers in their place.
you are what every mother should be?

While you retweet all of the love above, RuPaul has done his part in recognizing the admirable mother and son duo as well. On his own Twitter feed, he retweeted three replies to the Jorge thread to show his support.
Keep doing you, Kito.
