Lizzo wows fans in crochet bikini: ‘Thank you for representing us’

Lizzo showed her more than 9 million Instagram followers some serious skin in her latest posts.

On Monday, the 32-year-old singer shared snaps from a recent photoshoot wearing a crochet bikini and layered gold necklaces. Her hair’s styled in long red and black braids and skin’s glowing and sun-kissed.

She also posted a video whipping her hair back and forth with Ariana Grande’s new song “pov” playing in the background. “Back fat POV poppin bitch,” she wrote in the caption.

Fans were quick to flood the “Truth Hurts” singer’s comments with positive messages about how much they loved her look.

“You did that QUEEN!!!” one user wrote.

“It’s the skin for meeee,” someone praised.

“Thank you for representing us. I love seeing you so much,” another person said.

“You’re beautiful and cute and stunning and everything else that goes with goodness!!” a fan commented.

In October, Lizzo appeared on David Letterman’s Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction and opened up about how she’s perceived because of her body.

"It bothered me for a long time that all people could talk about — or think about — was my size," she admitted. "I didn't like it when people condemned me for it and it also kinda rubbed me the wrong way when I was praised, like, 'You're so brave.’”

She continued, "They thought that they were complimenting me by saying that I was unapologetic, and I'm like, 'What do I have to apologize for?'"
