BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A new study revealed that daiquiris are Louisiana’s most-searched cocktail.
QR Code Generator looked at state-specific Google searches connected to the names of cocktails, beers, ciders, spirits and wine to name the most popular beverage, according to a news release.
“It’s interesting to see not only which cocktails, beers, ciders, spirits and wines are the most popular among residents in Louisiana, but also the difference in popularity between the different types of alcohol,” said Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator.
According to the study, daiquiris are the top cocktail in Louisiana, with 7,075 average monthly searches. The study also showed that Bud Light was the most searched brand for beer in the state, while Woodchuck was the most popular cider for Louisiana residents.
Out of spirits, cognac brand Hennessy lead with 5,083 average searches each month, followed by Don Julio tequila and Crown Royal whiskey.
