Lucky Charms Is Adding A Special Edition Marshmallow Shape To The Mix
We've already determined that cereal is an acceptable food to eat an any time of day and thankfully there are enough options to choose from in case you want to switch it up from time to time. If you're a Lucky Charms kind of person, you'll be particularly happy to know that there is a new marshmallow shape you should be on the look out for.
General Mills is helping you celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a limited edition version of the sweet cereal. This special boxes will come with either normal cereal pieces or chocolate ones. The marshmallows in those versions will be the classic pots of gold and clovers plus all new golden coin marshmallows.
Lucky Charms doesn't add new marshmallow shapes very often (if it ain't broke, don't fix it!) aside from the recent unicorn shape. This gold coin makes a lot more sense, obviously, and makes Lucky Charms commit even more to the leprechaun and lucky superstitions shtick.
Since they're limited edition, these boxes and new coin marshmallows won't be around forever, but they're out now through March, making them the perfect thing to get you riled up for St. Patrick's Day. Limited edition Lucky Charms boxes will range in price between $2.50 and $3.33, based on box size. As usual, the pricing may vary by location and since they're a special offer you might have to check a few grocery aisles before you can snag these. I, for one, will definitely be on the lookout for these. I'm feelin' lucky!
