Luke Bryan's Red Stag Was Shot and Killed at His Family's Farm

Luke Bryan's red stag was shot and killed on his farm in December.
Authorities are investigating the horrifying incident, and Luke is reportedly offering an award for anyone who can help.
Luke Bryan and his family are on the search for information after their red stag was shot and killed on their farm in Tennessee.
People confirmed the news, and the Maury County Sheriff’s office delivered more information in a post on Facebook.
“Between the hours of Wednesday December 4, 2019 to early morning of Friday December 6, 2019 an unknown person(s) shot a Red Stag that was on private property in the Columbia/Mount Pleasant area,” the bulletin read. “This is being investigated by the Maury County Sheriff’s Department and the owner has offered a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for killing this animal.”
According to The Tennessean, there hasn’t been any positive updates. “It’s pretty limited,” Sheriff Bucky Rowland told the outlet. “If anybody knows anything (please) contact us.”
The Tennessean also reported that the red stag is not native to the U.S., meaning Luke would have needed to bring the animal to his property. This species of deer is usually found in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. They have characteristics similar to an elk, and reportedly can have a value of around $8,500.
Luke shares his home with wife Caroline Boyer, their kids Bo and Tate, and their two nieces and one nephew, Jordan, Kris, and Til. The family, who was brought together by tragedy, just celebrated Thanksgiving together and took a rare photo as a group.
Sending our best to the Bryans and hoping they find some answers soon.
