Making a Splash... Out of the Water
On Saturday, August 12, Oceana—the ocean conservation advocacy organization—hosted its fifth annual Rock Under the Stars event in Los Angeles.
The evening, which welcomed guests including Woody Harrelson, Mary Steenburgen, Sally Pressman, Ted Danson, Sam Waterston, Ed Begley Jr., and Tommy Chong, was hosted by Keith Addis and Keri Selig (who had a very philanthropic weekend and also helmed the following night's Los Angeles Regional Food Bank fundraiser) included a private performance by Gladys Knight, as well as culinary experiences care of James Beard Award winners Suzanne Goin and Sherry Yard and Los Angeles Chef of the Year Jason Neroni.
This event and Oceana’s other LA benefits have raised more than $6.5 million to support campaigns to protect the world’s oceans.
