Though the height of Barbiecore may be behind us, Margot Robbie is not letting go of the trend anytime soon — at least not until the awards season is over.
For the 2024 Golden Globes, the "Barbie" star wore a custom look by Armani Privé to spotlight her nomination for the pink-filled blockbuster film. The gown, styled by Andrew Mukamal, was inspired by the monochromatic ensemble worn by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie, a limited-edition doll that celebrated her "Superstar era," according to its original packaging. That's more than fitting for the actor's first major award show of the year.

Aside from the literal interpretation of the famous doll, the look also pulls inspiration from Armani Privé's Fall 2022 Haute Couture runway, which opportunely featured plenty of "Barbie"-ready outfits to choose from.

Robbie accessorized with a life-sized version of the hot-pink tulle boa worn by SuperStar Barbie and kept her jewelry minimal, wearing only round diamond earrings and a flashy diamond ring.

Rather than opt for the doll's voluminous Hollywood waves and blue eyeshadow, the star tamed her tresses in a straight 'do and stuck with her usual natural glam.
