The 67-year-old has been in the industry long before he snagged the role of the beloved leader of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, though. His first acting credit was in 1995, and he basically hasn’t stopped working since.

This is probably why Mark reportedly has a net worth of $90 million, according to sites like CelebrityNetWorth.com and The Richest. Let’s take a quick look at how his career has led to such an impressive sum.

First, there’s his time on TV.

Even before NCIS, Mark was a major player on the small screen. He rose to fame on St. Elsewhere, and has since landed parts in JAG, The West Wing, and more.

Mark gets paid a whopping $525,000 per episode for NCIS, according to the Observer. He was also named the fifth highest paid actor on television by Forbes, who claims he raked in $19 million for his work on the show between June 2017 and June 2018. As it's about to enter its 17th year on the air, it’s likely that number has grown quite a bit since NCIS began in 2003.

But he also produces shows, too.

Mark isn’t just an actor. He’s also the executive producer for NCIS and its spinoff, NCIS: New Orleans, which is about to kick off its sixth season. The Hollywood Reporter mentioned this helped him earn a salary bump when he signed a new deal with CBS in 2018.

And let’s not forget his movies, either.

Outside of TV, Mark has also been in plenty of movies, like Freaky Friday, Chasing Liberty, Summer School, and Beyond the Poseidon Adventure. It’s unclear how much he made from those projects, but it very likely boosted his overall appeal.
