Mark Wahlberg's Teen Sons Look So Grown Up in Back-to-School Pic
Mark Wahlberg's kids are all grown up!
His two sons just completed the first day of their freshman and senior years, and his wife, Rhea Durham, has shared a pair of sweet family photos to mark the occasion on Instagram.
In the first, uploaded yesterday, Aug. 7, Brendan, 14, stood next to his proud pop, who had a big grin on his face as his arm rested around his son's shoulders. Brendan was much more stoic for the snapshot, making eye contact with the camera though looking somewhat somber.
"How did he become a freshman in high school already?? ????????????," his mom wondered in the caption, but as many fans pointed out in the comments the boy, who has grown taller than the former rapper, looks much older than that.
Another photo showed Brendan standing outside with his older brother, Michael, 17, as they prepared to hop in the car for their first day. Much of the pair was cast in shadow due to a nearby tree, but as their mom explained in the caption, it was the best she could do.
"Really bad lighting but it’s all I could get. Freshman and Senior ????????????????," she wrote.
"Gotta take what we can get," one parent sympathized. "lol boys don’t like pics taken most of the time."
"I’m surprised they will let you take pics still ??," another commented.
"I have the same grades off and running… here we go, mama!??," another shared her support.
The couple still has one more first day of high school to go; while their daughter, Ella, is already graduated, Grace, 13, is still in middle school.
