Marvel’s Next Major Crossover Event Is Vampire-themed Blood Hunt.

Marvel Comics’ next major crossover event is the vampire-themed series Blood Hunt, due for release in Spring 2024.

Announced at NYCC this weekend as part of the Next Big Thing Panel, the main Blood Hunt limited series will be written by Jed MacKay (Avengers) with artwork from Pepe Larraz and Marte Gracia (X-Men).

While details are thin, Marvel promises to spotlight vampires across the Marvel universe, with the mini-series accompanied by one-offs and crossovers across some of its biggest books.

Promotional art for Blood Hunt highlights The Avengers, Spider-Man, Dr Strange and obviously, Blade, going teeth-to-teeth with the undead. With the tagline, “Who will bite it?” can we expect any of our well known heroes to turn to the dark side?

Writer MacKay seems to hint at it.

“We have vampires in our books all the time. There's some bad blood there,” he said.

"What happens if the shoe was on the other foot? We've got the Avengers, Moon Knight's Midnight Mission, Doctor Strange, Miles Morales, and of course, Blade, and there's going to be more vampires than you can shake a stick at.
