If you're wondering whether Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are still dating, well, they would probably say "dating" is not a strong enough word. Machine Gun Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) is the NYLON November cover star, and in his feature interview he and Fox both talked about their relationship and the fact that it extends beyond what most of us mere mortals have experienced.

The Jennifer's Body star described her relationship with MGK as being of "mythic proportions" and a "once in a lifetime thing," telling NYLON, "Loving him is like being in love with a tsunami or a forest fire." (In case this sounds too intense, the magazine points out that Fox laughed.)

"The intensity of merging with him is just overwhelming, and the threat it poses is so powerful but so beautiful that you have no choice to surrender with reverence and with gratitude," Fox said.

She also commented on first meeting MGK when they started working together on the upcoming film Midnight in the Switchgrass. "I looked into his eyes [and] I felt the most pristine, most gentle, most pure spirit," she said. "My heart shattered immediately and I just knew that I was fucked."

Meanwhile, MGK said that Fox makes him feel safe. "Love is not what’s being encouraged now," he told NYLON. "In fact, it’s exactly the opposite: Everything now is isolation, dehumanization, separation. You have in your head that you’re this rock star, with multiple women and all that...So finding someone that can take you out of the fast lane and make sure that you're safe, because at any minute you can crash—I love that it can evolve into that."

In July, Fox and MGK both appeared on the Give Them Lala... With Randall podcast and Fox described MGK as her "twin flame."

"Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time," Fox said. "We're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."

Whatever you want to call it — "twin flames," a bond of "mythic proportions" — it's clear that these two are fully in love and that's a positive thing. And since they've only been together a few months so far, it's also obvious that we're only going to get more of their colorful relationship descriptions.
