Meghan Plans to Work Until Her Due Date, as Kate Launches a New Project
Meghan Markle is expecting her first baby with Prince Harry. Her due date is sometime in the Spring of 2019.
Kate Middleton welcomed her third child with Prince William earlier this year. Before Prince Louis was born, Kate worked right up until her due date.
Since Meghan became the Duchess of Sussex, she has had an incredibly busy work schedule, and it's believed that she has no plans to slow down.
Meghan Markle's pregnancy has been a hot topic of conversation since the news was announced during the royal tour. But rather than taking it easy, Meghan has proven she's incredibly committed to the causes she supports. From visiting the Hubb Community Kitchen, with whom she helped to create Together: Our Community Cookbook earlier this year, to stepping out at multiple evening events alongside her husband, Meghan's royal life is seemingly always busy.
And according to Vanity Fair, Meghan has no plans to change her schedule anytime soon. Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl reports that "Meghan has told aides she wants to work as close to her due date next spring as possible," meaning that the next few months could be pretty busy for the Duchess.
Nicholl also revealed that Meghan "is expected to announce a collaboration with at least one more charity by the end of the year."
And while Meghan and Harry will move away from Kensington Palace quite soon, into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, the royal split is still a topic of discussion. Nicholl writes that, "According to Palace sources, there have been early-stage talks about how the two separate households will operate, though it is not expected that any change will take place immediately."
Per Vanity Fair, Kate also plans to launch "a new campaign to help disadvantaged children in Britain," which continues the work the Duchess of Cambridge has been doing as she focuses on reducing "anti-social behavior, addiction, and mental health" in families.
Regardless of what happens following the palace split, both Meghan and Kate remain committed to the respective charities and causes that they care about.
