Meghan Markle May Be Nominated for a Teen Choice Award, But She's Hardly the Only Royal Performer
Meghan Markle - now Meghan, Duchess of Sussex - is certainly not the first stylish royal, but she is the first to be nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her personal style. Back in June it was announced that she was up against Blake Lively, Chadwick Boseman, Harry Styles, Migos, and Zendaya for Choice Style Icon. The winner will be announced tonight when the awards ceremony is broadcast on Fox.
The Duchess probably earned her spot as the first royal nominee because of her career as an actress, but she's certainly not the first royal to perform. Here's a brief history of Princes and Princesses who've taken a turn on the stage or screen

After Prince William revealed that his son George is a fan of the popular British children's show Fireman Sam, the show's producers announced they'll include the Prince in an upcoming episode. Titled "the Prince in Pontypandy," the show "will see a four-year-old royal visit the fictional South Wales town as part of a state visit. But, when calamity strikes, he'll be forced to save the day with a helicopter."
William and Harry
Prince William and Prince Harry filmed cameo appearances along with Tom Hardy as Stormtroopers in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the scene didn't make it into the final cut of the film. Stormtroopers have a required height of 5'11 and both Princes are over six feet tall.
