Prince Harry Is Smitten With Meghan Markle While Attending His Childhood Friend’s Wedding on Her Birthday
It’s a celebratory day for tHe Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and her husband’s inner circle. Saturday, August 4th marked Markle’s 37th birthday and the newest royal spent the day with Prince Harry at the wedding of one of his oldest friends: Charlie van Straubenzee.
For the occasion, Markle stepped out in a navy pleated dress by Club Monaco featuring green and pink color blocks. She paired her summer outfit with a matching fascinator and happily waved to bystanders and other friends gathered at the church in Surrey on the weekend afternoon.

Photographers captured the PDA-prone couple holding hands at the nuptials with Harry looking over at his wife adoringly.
Van Straubenzee, 30, is one of Prince Harry and Prince William’s oldest friends. According to multiple outlets, the Duke of Sussex did not serve as a groomsmen in the festivities, though he reportedly helped out in another capacity in the ceremony.
The bride, Daisy Jenks, is a videographer and looked radiant in a strapless, form-fitting white gown decorated with lace floral patterns.
The palace expressed gratitude on Saturday on behalf of Markle for the birthday love. “Thank you everyone for your lovely messages on The Duchess of Sussex’s birthday!” the official Kensington Palace Instagram account read. “#HappyBirthdayHRH.”
