Have Mercy! John Stamos Is Expecting His First Child at Age 54
John Stamos, do you ever age?
In this week’s issue of People, the 54-year-old actor announced that he and his fiancée, 31-year-old Caitlin McHugh, are expecting their first child together. The Full House star revealed that, luckily, his on-screen experience has prepped him to take on the role of parent.
He said, “I’ll be a fun dad. I’ve been practicing for a long time. I’ve done every schtick you can do with a baby on TV, all the bits and jokes and diaper gags. I’ll probably just do all that stuff.”
The actor also confessed that he and his future wife will keep the gender of the baby a surprise. When asked about a potential future sibling, Stamos simply said, “I think so.” #Bless
Stamos and McHugh went public with their relationship in March 2016 and announced their engagement in October of this year with the sweetest Instagram post.
