Michael Strahan let fans know how his daughter Isabella Strahan is doing as she continues to battle brain cancer.

Isabella, who is one of the TV personality's 19-year-old twin daughters, underwent emergency surgery in Oct. 2023 after she was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor.

The teenager recently started the process of chemotherapy—a journey she has been bravely documenting with inspirational videos shared on her YouTube page—but over the past few days, she's had a minor setback, according to her dad.

During Wednesday's episode of Good Morning America, Michael talked to his fellow co-hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos about Isabella's progress, sharing that the past few days have been "a little rough" for the teen.

"She had a fever that kind of comes and goes," the former pro football player stated. "I had to take her to the hospital and thought she’d come home a few hours later...It's been three days, but hopefully, she’ll be home today."

"She has been going through it and she's fighting through it," the doting dad added of his daughter, who has been surrounded by support from Michael, his girlfriend Kayla Quick, her twin sister Sophia Strahan and their mom, Jean Muggli.

As for how the experience has been for Michael as a parent, he admitted that it is "tough to see her go through it, but she's a tough young lady and she's gonna make it through."

Plus, "I've got you guys here to support me," he said while gesturing to his GMA family. "And I know so many people have gone through it who all reach out and send their love and send their support."

The FOX NFL Sunday analyst also took a moment to thank everyone for the support Isabella has received since going public with her diagnosis in January, noting that all of the good energy has kept the teen "in a positive space" throughout her cancer journey.
