‘The All-New Mickey Mouse Club’ Cast: Then And Now

Disney Channel’s The All-New Mickey Mouse Club in the 1990s set Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell, JC Chasez and the rest of the cast up for superstar careers.

Casting director Matt Casella scoured the country for America’s most talented kids, and the 35 who made it filmed in front of a live studio audience from 1989-1994 at the then-brand-new Disney-MGM Studios.

The All-New Mickey Mouse Club cast was schooled on-set and considered Walt Disney World their playground as they sang and danced, acted in Saturday Night Live-style skits and hosted segments on New Kids On The Block, Donald Trump and Christie Brinkley.

“Being in the show was boot camp for the entertainment industry,” Spears said in her 2023 memoir The Woman In Me.

And there were the spinoff music groups. First was The Party, 1990-1993, and 2013-present, comprised of Albert Fields, Chasen Hampton, Deedee Magno, Damon Pampolina, and the late Tiffini Hale, who reached #34 on the Billboard charts with Dokken cover “In My Dreams.”

The Party released four albums and toured with hitmakers of the day, Color Me Badd, Taylor Dayne and Vanilla Ice. Not only was Nicole Richie a major fan (she tweeted “does ANYONE remember the band The Party? Please someone say yes.”), but the late Artist Formerly Known As Prince couldn’t get enough of them, and regularly requested their song “Frontin’” at a Beverly Hills nightclub, the group told OK! in 2013.

In 1993, the show launched music group MMC, which featured Chasez, Rhona Bennett, Nita Booth, Dale Godboldo, Tony Lucca, Ricky Luna, Matt Morris and Jennifer McGill. The act toured malls and Target stores bringing their smooth vocals and dance moves. McGill’s song, “Hanging On For Dear Life,” was featured in the 1993 movie My Boyfriend’s Back.

After the show came to a halt in October 1994, those who would be stars went into career-saving overdrive.

Here’s a glimpse of what The All-New Mickey Mouse Club cast is up to now:

In 2021, her 13+ year conservatorship ended, and in 2023 she released her bombshell memoir The Woman In Me, in which she details an abortion Timberlake forced her to have when their music careers were beginning.

No Strings held the title of biggest single week sales at 2.4 million copies until Adele broke it in 2015.

Spears and Timberlake were America’s golden couple from 1999-2002.

The ten-time Grammy Award winner forged a solo career bolstered in part by “Cry Me A River,” a track in which he implied Spears cheated on him.

He has released five solo albums including 2002’s Justified, 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, 2013’s The 20:20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 and 2018’s Man of The Woods and embarked on five tours.
