Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino’s Wife Says He’s “Doing Great” in Prison

Two days ago, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino began his prison sentence after pleading guilty to a 2014 tax evasion charge, and his Jersey Shore following has been nothing but supportive.
Mike's wife of two months, Lauren Pesce Sorrentino, gave an update to his fans, saying he is "doing great" despite the circumstances.
"Hi Everyone, it’s Lauren. Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support," she wrote in a series of tweets.
"We speak everyday & he’s doing great. He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and everyone of you. Thank you from the both of us; it is truly heartwarming to have this support during this time. Lots of Love, Michael & Lauren Sorrentino."
Mike originally pled guilty in January 2018 on a tax charge involving falsified records and $9 million in income. He was sentenced to eight months in prison, two years of probation, and 500 hours of community service, and he'll also have to pay $133,000.
For those who will miss The Sitch while he's serving his sentence, though, he encouraged his fans, friends, and family alike to write him in the meantime.
Think he'll write back? Only one way to find out ...
