Miley Cyrus’s Vivienne Westwood Wedding Dress: All the Details
Miley Cyrus and Vivienne Westwood forever. For her wedding to Liam Hemsworth on December 23, Cyrus chose a silk gown by British designer Westwood—a name whose biggest pop culture moment to-date was her contribution as Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding dress designer of choice in the Sex and the City movie.
Westwood once again catapulted into the spotlight this week when it was revealed that Cyrus had chosen the designer for her secret, at-home, holiday wedding to Hemsworth.
The bride-of-the-moment chose an ivory color, silk satin couture gown by Westwood that featured an off-the-shoulder draping.
According to People, you can still get your hands on the design, which itself was made-to-order for $8,600 at the London and New York City Vivienne Westwood flagship stores. The exact design is the Long Cocotte design.
Westwood is joining a list of other British female designers like Stella McCartney and Claire Waight Keller, who’ve all enjoyed an exceptional year after dressing Meghan Markle on her wedding day.
Cyrus and Hemsworth endured a difficult past season after their home in Malibu recently burned down.
“[Liam is] my partner. I call him my ‘survival partner’ now,” she told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show in November. “He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is,” she continued. “It is why you pair up with someone, for survival. And he was so incredible. He got all the animals out in his truck. He put two pigs in crates, which I tell you is so hard.”

The couple hosted their intimate wedding at their home in Tennessee. Cyrus took to Instagram three days after the nuptials to confirm she and Hemsworth had, in fact, married following much speculation.
“12.23.18,” she captioned one pic.
