Mom Reveals How Teacher Reacted to Taylor Swift-Inspired Absence Letter

Swifties just get it.

One mom pulled her daughter out of school for a Taylor Swift concert and the teacher had the best reaction.

Karen Vladeck sent an email to her daughter's teacher to let her know that she would be missing class due to the "Anti-hero" songstress being in town, but instead of sending a simple email, she made things interesting.

Vladeck, 38, channeled her inner Swiftie and penned a note full of callouts to the singer's discography. "Here’s hoping my daughter’s 1st grade teacher is a Swiftie," she wrote alongside a screenshot of the iconic letter.

“Dear Reader [Ms. Parks], I’m writing to let you know that Maddie won’t be in school on 4/24 because she is going to the Taylor Swift concert in Houston," she wrote at the beginning of the letter.

“I hope missing school doesn’t ruin her otherwise stellar Reputation, but she begged me to go and maybe I Should Have Said No but I didn’t want to be Mean,” Vladeck wrote before adding in another song title, “So It Goes…”

“Anyway, I hope this doesn’t leave any Bad Blood between you and Maddie and that things for the rest of the year are not Treacherous. I know I Did Something Bad and I promise this will be The Last Time she has an unexcused absence before the Cruel Summer starts,” she wrote before signing her email, “Forever & Always, Karen Vladeck.”

While chatting with Today.com, she recalled just how she thought up this iconic absence letter.

“At first, it was going to be one sentence long and then I got into it and I just kept pulling different titles out,” she told the outlet before revealing how her husband reacted.

"I sent it without asking my husband, even though I copied him on it," Vladeck said. "When he saw it, he was like, ‘What are you thinking?’ But then the teacher wrote back immediately and she absolutely loved it.”

Vladeck shared Ms. Parks' reaction with her Twitter followers, and it couldn't have gone any better! "THIS MADE MY ENTIRE DAY," the teacher wrote in response.

It's safe to say that Ms. Parks is a potential Swiftie herself!

While speaking with the outlet, Vladeck revealed that she loves the message that Swift is spreading with her latest tour.

“I absolutely love the message of what The Eras Tour represents, which is that you as a woman can be constantly reinventing yourself if you want to,” she said. “I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift since ‘Tim McGraw’ came out and the fact that she’s still here and is still so incredibly relevant — even more so than when she was at 18 — that’s just an amazing message for little girls to see.”

As for how Vladeck's daughter enjoyed the show, well, we're sure she had "The Best Day."
