For Moms Sick of Pokemon Go, Here Comes 'Chardonnay Go'
Maybe by now you've heard about this Pokemon Go craze. The mobile game was released only a few days ago, but managed to get tens of millions of users in that time. If you notice people around you on the street with their heads down, they're likely playing the location-based game, which inserts little virtual Pokemon into your real surroundings.
With something this insanely popular, it was only a matter of time before the parodies rolled in. New Jersey mom (and comedienne) Dena Blizzard has created her own version, Chardonnay Go, just for other ladies like herself. You know, the ones who appreciate a glass of vino after a long day.
The video finds her running around her neighborhood seeking out glasses of wine hidden behind trees, in other people's homes, and even inside an unsuspecting dog-walker's shorts.
"Another glass found! This app is amazing," she says. "Free Chardonnay for moms everywhere!" Unfortunately, the parody remains just that for now... though it could make for a fun summer party idea. Hide and go seek some wine?
Blizzard frequently creates funny videos that capture the mom experience, such as fighting to get your stroller into the car, or panicking about lack of tampons (as opposed to bread or milk) before a snowstorm. We get you, Dena.
