McDonald's was the first burger joint to enter the fast-food breakfast game back in 1977, but Wendy's wasn't too far behind when it launched the morning meal in 1985. Back then, the Wendy's breakfast menu included French toast, made-to-order omelets, and other goodies. Unfortunately, the first iteration of its morning menu was pulled after just nine months, according to Mashed, due to the complex nature that breakfast meal prep required.

The chain made multiple attempts to enter the fast-food breakfast market after that, once in 2007, then again in 2012. As Wendy's never saw the type of earnings it was looking for with those breakfast trials, it quickly went back to the regular burger and fry routine.

But the restaurant's fourth attempt in 2020 proved to be the most successful, perhaps thanks to signature menu items like the Breakfast Baconator and the Frosty-ccino. Those breakfast items have stayed steady since then and the chain has added a few new items, including the Frosty Cream Cold Brew and two new English Muffin Sandwiches as of August 22, 2023.

What Time Does Wendy's Stop Serving Breakfast?

At many Wendy's locations, breakfast is served between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. every day, a Wendy's manager confirmed to Parade.com in a phone call.

These hours may vary by region and by location, and will also depend on "item availability." But for the most part, there's a four-hour window breakfast enthusiasts can get their grub on at the famous burger joint.

What Can You Find on the Wendy's Breakfast Menu?

The Wendy's breakfast menu includes mainstays like the Breakfast Baconator, Sausage or Bacon, Egg & Cheese English Muffin, and the Sausage or Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. If you're into sausage and gravy biscuits, those are on offer too, as well as a selection of beverages like coffee, orange juice and the Frosty-ccino.

Currently, there's also the Breakfast Biggle Bundle, which is a 2 for $3 deal that pairs a Sausage Biscuit, Egg and Cheese Biscuit, a small seasoned Breakfast Potato or a medium hot coffee.
