Naomi Campbell's natural hair makes a rare appearance at Paris Fashion Week
Naomi Campbell‘s long, straight hairstyles are as iconic as her runway walk. So whenever the supermodel ditches her signature ’do, the fashion world practically stops.
Campbell was spotted rocking her natural hair on Thursday outside the Louis Vuitton show during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. Styled in voluminous, honey-blond-tip curls, her hair displayed a frizzy texture and warm hair color that complemented the 48-year-old’s tan oversize blazer and gold aviator sunglasses. And we’d be remiss not to point out her sun-kissed makeup — is she wearing Nars foundation?
In December, Campbell posted a selfie on Instagram to “bare it all” and showcase her natural hair braided in cornrows. She also attended designer Raf Simons’s final Calvin Klein show last September with naturally curly tresses.
In an interview with the Evening Standard, Campbell candidly discussed how wearing extensions for so many years took a toll on the overall health of her hair, even leaving her with bald spots. She explained: “I do take more care of my hair now, because I lost all of it with extensions. I am more careful, and I do different things.” When asked, “Did it grow back?” she responded: “Yes. Thank God.” Whatever the steps currently making up Campbell’s hair routine, it’s really paying off.
