The new royal baby shares a birthday with some very famous folks

Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their third child, a baby boy, into the world on Monday, April 23 — also known in England as St. George’s Day.

While it is certainly a day to remember for the royal family, it’s also a special day for celebrities who now share a birthday with the new prince.

These stars are lucky enough to have the same birthday as the new royal.

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid was born in 1995, and just turned 23.

In recent years, the model shot to superstardom after being featured on the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.

Hadid made her first appearance as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2015.

John Cena

This year, wrestling legend John Cena celebrated his 41st birthday.

However, it may have been a muted celebration as it was just announced that he has split from his fiancée, wrestler Nikki Bella.

Dev Patel

The new prince shares a birthday with fellow Brit Dev Patel.

The now 28-year-old actor found international fame with Slumdog Millionaire, and was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Lion.

Lady Gabriella Windsor

Though not as famous (or as close to the throne) as the newborn prince, fellow royal Lady Gabriella Windsor beat him to the April 23 birthday spot.

She is the 37-year-old daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Prince Michael of Kent is a grandson of King George V and Queen Mary, making him a paternal first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.

William Shakespeare

The new prince isn’t the only famous Brit who has a way with queens named Elizabeth.

Though the exact date of his birth remains unknown, famed playwright William Shakespeare’s big day is celebrated on April 23. He died on that day in 1616 at age 34.
