NFL Fans Are Making Prop Bets on Whether or Not Travis Kelce Will Propose to Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl
Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs celebrates with Taylor Swift after a 17-10 victory against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game
Will this year's Super Bowl turn into an engagement celebration? Some NFL fans think so, and are making bets surrounding whether or not Travis Kelce proposes to girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Ahead of the annual sports showdown, which is slated to take place on Sunday, Feb. 11, everyone wants in on the action—and the action, this year (Usher's upcoming halftime performance aside), seems to be largely focused around the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's relationship with the 12-time Grammy-winning pop singer.
In a post shared by Instagram account ballplayers on Wednesday, Jan. 31, the sports-focused media page addressed the fact that betting platform FanDuel Canada is offering a prop bet based on whether Kelce pops the big question at the big game—something the outlet admitted is "crazy."

"This is actually crazy…@fdsportsbook Canada is offering a Super Bowl prop bet on whether Travis Kelce will propose to Taylor Swift on the field after the game," the social media upload explained in its caption.
Further dissecting what fans can hope to win, it continued to offer insight by adding, "The odds opened at +140 Yes (bet $100 to win $140) and -170 No (bet $170 to win $100)… however with almost all of the early money coming in on NO, the current odds are +1060 Yes (bet $100 to win $1060) and -3000 No (bet $3000 to win $100)."
The outlet wrapped up its caption by posing a question to its followers: "So what do you think? Will Kelce propose to Taylor Swift on the field after the game?"
In the comment section, fans chimed in with their own opinions on the matter.
"Lol after only a few months? This whole thing is a theatrical display anyways," one reasoned, while another said, "No way is he going to propose ?? You’re pulling our leg with this?!"
"Stop this right now. The SuperBowl [sic] is about football not no damn Cinderella story," a third lamented.
Another brought up a valid point, writing, "if he planned to propose yall [sic] kinda ruined the surprise."

Kelce and the Chiefs secured their spot in the highly-anticipated sporting event on Sunday, Jan. 28, after beating out the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship. Next, they take on the San Francisco 49ers in the final match of the season.
Swift was, of course, in attendance at the game, putting on an affectionate display with her beau as she rushed the field with other players' family and friends, hugging, kissing, and exchanging "I love you's" with the Catching Kelce alum immediately following the win.
So, will Travis secure his third Super Bowl ring? And/or will Taylor secure a ring of her own? Only time will tell!
Catch all the happenings live during the game, broadcasting Sunday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 PM EST on CBS.
