NFL Player Rashad Jennings Goes Viral for Embarrassing Fail on 'Wheel of Fortune'

Rashad Jennings

Rashad Jennings, who retired from professional football in 2017 and took home the Mirrorball trophy on Dancing with the Stars the same year, made a major mistake on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune that went viral.

The 38-year-old competed on the Wednesday, Oct. 18 episode of the game show, which features celebrities competing to win money for their charity of choice. Jennings was there for his foundation, the Rashad Jennings Foundation, which focuses on educating and empowering youth.

While competing against fellow former NFL players Marcellus Wiley and Jared Allen, Jennings was one letter away from winning a puzzle, with the correct answer being, "Driving to Reno with Quentin Tarantino." All he needed was the "Q" at the start of the Kill Bill director's name.

But when it came time to guess the final letter, Jennings went with "P," which would've spelled out "Puentin," rather than "Quentin."

Pat Sajak politely told Jennings that his answer was wrong, and everyone smoothly moved on. But fans watching at home weren't quick to forget, taking to social media to discuss the misstep.

One fan declared in a post on X, "Rashad Jennings is the worst Wheel of Fortune player of all time! He said 'Driving to Reno with Puentin Tarantino' then follows it up by trying to solve and leaving a whole word out of his guess."

The post currently has over 133,000 views, with many adding their two cents about the situation. Some simply found the fail funny, with someone replying, "I haven’t been able to stop laughing after he said P…Puentin Tarantino ??????????????????."

In response, another fan wrote, "Lmao same man! I was almost back to being composed but then I almost needed oxygen when he butchered the next one!"

"I came here for this! Poor guy! What a good sport, though," read a more sympathetic comment.

Someone else felt the embarrassment, saying, "Oh nah come on buddy ?????♂??????♂??????♂?."

Along with Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Jennings has also appeared on the game shows Name That Tune and The Celebrity Dating Game during the past few years.
