There's a lot of hype around Crocs. They are the epitome of foot-pampering footwear. First of all, these unisex shoes are lightweight and breathable; they’re even perforated for air circulation. "They are so comfy, light and airy, with great cushioning for walking all day long," trumpeted one shopper. "I used to think they were just plastic gardening shoes, or just comfy clogs for nurses and doctors. But now I am seeing Crocs everywhere ... They have become a highly sought-after fashion item!"

"I've worn every sole, every orthotic, every thick support whatever shoe there is out there for severe chronic pain and plantar fasciitis that never improves," said another fan. "I saw the sale on these and kinda went sure, OK, I'll see. They came the next day and then I wore them for the first time during a volunteering shift to care for cats ... and the result was wild to me. Absolutely 100% of my weight (and then some, it feels) is always digging into my heels and making everything worse.
