Kim Kardashian shares photos of North West's latest artwork
Is Kim Kardashian's eldest daughter a budding designer?
On Friday, the SKIMS mogul posted several snaps of her 9-year-old daughter North West, 9, posing in her father Kanye West’s new Yeezy sunglasses. Kardashian captioned a photo of North sporting the wraparound shades, which have a mirrored look, “YR 3022 YEEZY SHDZ.” Thus far, the sunglasses have yet to be released.
In addition to sharing photos of North in the sunglasses, Kardashian shared two photos she captioned “North’s sketches.” The pics show her daughter’s drawings of faces, which include hair emerging from the images.
Whether or not North’s sketches have a place in the next Yeezy line, it’s clear that North has artistic flair. Kardashian previously spoke about her daughter in a 2021 video for Vogue, where she shared that North has a strong interest in drawing and painting. Kardashian, who is also mom to Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, listed her child’s work as some of her most cherished objects.
“She's a really really good artist and she loves to paint,” the proud mom said at the time, sharing a painting that North did of mountains with the camera.
The Kardashians star also posted the painting on Instagram, and captioned the post, “Just had to post this on my main feed bc it’s a North West Classic!”
In addition to showing her individuality through her artwork, North has also showcased her personality in other ways. She recently teased videographers at Paris Fashion Week by holding up a written message for them that read “STOP.”
"North I guess had it with the people taking pictures of her," Kardashian tweeted alongside a video of the viral moment. "She wrote on her invite STOP and held it up and wanted them to just focus on the show."
Kardashian also admitted during Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference in March that her mini me gives her fashion advice.
"North is very opinionated when it comes to what I'm wearing," Kardashian said. "She'll always complain when I'm wearing too much black."
