NSRA hosting Mobile Bay Street Rod Nationals this weekend—what to know

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The National Street Rod Association is bringing the Street Rod Nationals to Mobile this weekend.

The Mobile Bay Street Rod Nationals are scheduled for Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29, at The Grounds.

The event will begin Friday at 8 a.m.

While viewing the cars, attendees can enjoy the variety of food trucks available to them, live music provided by Nick Donovan’s Rockin’ Road Show and even an appearance by the Azalea Trail Maids on Saturday.

Attendees can also see the latest car creations from the Spotlight Builder Select: Metal Brothers Hot Rod Shop.

In addition to viewing all of the vintage hot rods, custom-made vehicles and muscle cars, attendees will also have the opportunity for their children to participate in many fun kids’ games.

Satsuma City Schools introduces new principal for Satsuma High School

The Pharaohs of Alabama Car Club will provide the kids’ activities, coordinating the swap meet, assisting with registration and trailer parking.

The Winner’s Circle is the closing ceremony of the vehicle showcase and will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. with musical entertainment, and the award ceremonies begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Mobile Bay Street Rod Nationals invites people who own a vehicle 30 years or older or anyone who wants to attend the event and see the assortment of all the interesting vehicles.

Ticketing Information

• Regular Admissions: $20 for 13 years or older

• Children ages 6 to 12: $6

• Children ages 5 & under when accompanied by an adult: free

• For a family of 2 Adults & 3 children (12 years & younger): $45

• A $2 discount is offered to active military, seniors above 60 years old and NSRA members (all require proper I.D.). One discount per person is allowed.

  • Discount spectator tickets are offered for advance purchase at any O’Reilly Auto Parts Store.
