Olivia Munn reveals her infant son vomited in her freshly-done hair: 'When you get your hair blown out...'
Olivia Munn is experiencing the unglamorous aspects of parenthood.
The Violet actress, who welcomed her first child with partner John Mulaney in November 2021, posted a video to her Instagram page on Friday that showed what happened soon after having her hair freshly blown out.
Set to a soundtrack of Mariah Carey's 1995 hit song "Fantasy," Munn zoomed in the cameron to her long brown hair, which her infant son, Malcolm, had just vomited in.
"When you get your hair blown out and then your baby..." Munn wrote on the video, along with a vomit emoji.
Munn received plenty of comments from fellow moms and fans, ranging from Kate Hudson, who posted a laughing emoji, and Jeannie Mai, who just wrote "dead." One follower wrote "will see you rocking a top knot for the next 12 months."
Munn is having plenty of fun navigating the trials and tribulations of modern motherhood. Earlier this month, Munn discussed her struggle with postpartum hair loss, sharing on Instagram that her long, brown mane is "falling out in clumps postpartum."
The comments came after Los Angeles fashion designer Amber Farr commented on the Munn's Instagram post, complimenting her hair. "Can I just have your hair for one day please?"
"I'll let you have it once I can grow it back and give it to you in better condition," Munn wrote back in the comments.
The Newsroom star also shared a candid photo of herself shopping at the grocery store in an oversized checkered shirt, loose-fitting sweatpants, tan wedge sneakers and a mask.
“This is my #snapback. Wearing my boyfriend’s shirt AND pants. Hair a mess. Shopping for cheese," she captioned the photo. "No lie, I thought I was holding it together pretty good until I saw this photo. I thought the wedge sneakers made me look a little more pulled together but I was wrong.”
Munn has also shared openly about the challenges she's faced postpartum, including the struggle to successfully breastfeed with a low supply of milk. She revealed she has tried everything from lactation consultants and liters of coconut water to gummies and three different breast pumps.
"I cried and cried. I felt like my body was failing. I worried I wouldn't bond with my baby," Munn shared in an Instagram post back in February 2022. "But then I said f*** it..."
