In 2016, it was Brie Larson for Room. Then in 2017, it was Emma Stone for La La Land. And now, the Academy just crowned another lucky actress with a highly coveted honor.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’s Frances McDormand was named Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 90th annual Oscar Awards ceremony tonight.
The actress was up against Sally Hawkins from The Shape of Water, Margot Robbie from I, Tonya, Saoirse Ronan from Lady Bird and Meryl Streep from The Post.
