Panera Brings Back 2 Tasty Menu Offerings for Summer

Panera is kicking off summertime with the perfect seasonal additions to their menu.

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, the restaurant chain announced the return of two lobsterfied fan-favorites: the Lobster Roll and Lobster Mac & Cheese.

Beginning Thursday, May 25, the dynamic duo of mouther-watering lobster dishes will be available at select Panera cafe's in the Northeast.

Here's what you can expect when you bite into these summertime favorites:

The Lobster Mac & Cheese features Panera's beloved velvety smooth Vermont White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese topped with buttered claw & knuckle lobster meat, as well as seasoned Panko bread crumbs. Pricing varies by location but on average, this meal will sell for $22.99.

Next, Panera's Lobster Roll features lobster claw and knuckle meat, tossed in a lemon tarragon mayonnaise-based dressing, piled high into a New England Roll. Pricing varies by location but on average, this meal will sell for $22.99.

"At Panera, we change our menu regularly to bring in the flavors of the seasons and we’re thrilled to offer our East Coast guests two outstanding lobster entrees for the summer,” Claes Petersson, Panera’s head chef and chief innovation officer, said in a statement to Food Network. "Pairing juicy, delicious lobster with our iconic mac & cheese is … a bold flavor sensation we think our guests will wish could be on the menu all year round."

Nearly 200 different Panera locations across the Northeastern United States will be offering these seasonal delicacies, which will only be available for a limited time.
