How to Make a Paper Poinsettia Garland

Materials

• Heavy crepe paper

• Red wire florists stems

• Green wire florists stems

• Green florists tape

• Hot-glue gun

• Hot-glue sticks

• Faux flower stamens

• Scissors

• Basic leaf drawings

• Garland-length satin cording

How to Make the Poinsettia Garland

1. Cut out flower petal and leaf shapes from red and green crepe paper, respectively. (You'll need 6-8 red petals and 3-4 green leaves for each poinsettia.)

1. Hot-glue red wires to red petals and green wires to green leaves.

2. Gently fold the petals and leaves for dimension.

3. Hot-glue one stamen to the end of a new piece of green wire.

4. Use florists tape to attach the petals and leaves to the wire stem around the stamen. Trim extra wire.

5. Weave flowers through cording.
