Patti LaBelle Is Starring in a New Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie
The newly released lineup for Hallmark Channel’s 2018 "Countdown to Christmas" marathon features plenty of familiar faces (LeAnn Rimes, Lori Loughlin, and Kellie Pickler, oh my!) but we’re particularly excited about seeing one of America’s greatest singing talents in the mix.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the “Godmother of Soul,” Patti LaBelle, is slated to appear alongside Tatyana Ali of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Dondré Whitfield of All My Children in the television network’s production of Christmas Everlasting.

The new film, which is based on Marie Bostwick's book The Second Sister, is about a high-powered lawyer forced to return to her small hometown after her sister with special needs passes away. Back in town, she’s frustrated to learn that in order to inherit the family home, she’s required to live there for 30 days through the holidays. Oh, and her high-school sweetheart can’t help but get involved.
Juicy, right?
Tune in to catch LaBelle in Christmas Everlasting on Hallmark Channel November 24th—you know we’ll be watching!
