Paul Mescal Confirms That He Fights Baboons in Gladiator 2
Paul Mescal has arrived at the 2024 EE BAFTA Awards, where he is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in All of Us Strangers.
Starring opposite Andrew Scott the film follows a screenwriter drawn back to his childhood home where he discovers his parents appear to be living just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.
Mescal joined Alex Zane on the red carpet at the BAFTAs, where he spoke about working with Ridley Scott on Gladiator 2.
The film is officially in post-production, Mescal said.
"Ridley is the absolute king", and Mescal is "incredibly excited and proud of the work [they] did together".
The BAFTA nominee couldn't give too much more away, though, despite Zane trying to pull a little hint out of him.
Mescal did confirm, however, that he does, indeed, fight some baboons.

"Ridley said that," Mescal said. But that's all we're getting while further info on the film remains under wraps ahead of its November 22, 2024, release date.
Tonight's EE BAFTA Film Awards will be broadcast on BBC and available across BritBox International in the USA, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, South Africa and Australia.
