Peach And Strawberry Mountain Dew Could Be Coming To Shelves Soon And They Sound Refreshing As Hell
When Mountain Dew came out with Kickstart, die-hard Dew fans collectively freaked. After all, a drink that combines juice, caffeine, and Dew doesn’t come along every day.
Since then, Mtn Dew Kickstart has rolled out some really cool flavors including Orange Citrus, Midnight Grape, and Fruit Punch. And now, it seems, there are about to be two new varieties you can load up on: Peach Dawn and Strawberry Sunrise.
That’s the word according to @candyhunting, who shared photos of the new drinks on Instagram. “New Peach Dawn and Strawberry Sunrise Mtn Dew Kickstart will be out soon, likely within the next month!” they wrote in the caption.
The photo @candyhunting shared is a little blurry, but you can still make out some vital information. The Peach Dawn flavor is a fizzy drink with a peach vibe coming through. Mountain Dew already technically had a peachy-flavored drink with its Sweet Lightning collaborative beverage with KFC, and now there’s about to be one more to add to the mix.
As for Strawberry Sunrise, TBH, it’s hard to tell from the photo. But strawberry + Mountain Dew sounds like a winning combination to me. It is worth noting, however, Strawberry Kiwi Kickstart already exists so this should be even more delicious.
Despite the blurry pics, people are pretty excited about these upcoming releases. “I'm all about Peach!” one person wrote. “The universe may be turning in my favor for once,” another said.
For what it's worth, when taking a peak at the Mountain Dew Reddit, these flavors were rumored months ago (though with slightly different packaging) alongside making Maui Burst a permanent flavor, which did happen.
We reached out to Mountain Dew to see if they could share any info and we'll be sure to update this post if we hear back. No word yet on exactly when these will hit shelves, but definitely start keeping a close eye on your local beverage aisle, starting in February.
