Pensacola Fourth of July: Free concert, food trucks and fireworks scheduled

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The Fourth of July is approaching, and Pensacola has a number of events planned, according to officials.

So, those looking for Independence Day plans can celebrate with a free concert, food trucks, and what officials call “Pensacola’s Grandest Fireworks Display.”

First, Pensacola residents and visitors can enjoy a free “Symphony Sparks & Stars” concert by the Pensacola Symphony.

The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the amphitheater behind Blue Wahoos Stadium.

And Pensacola officials say local food trucks will be at Veterans Memorial Park serving meals from 4-9 p.m.

Then, there’s the highlight of the night: fireworks.

The Greater Pensacola Chamber and Pensacola Young Professionals are teaming up to bring what they call “Pensacola’s Grandest Fireworks Display.”

According to a news release, the 2024 Pensacola’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show is scheduled for 9 p.m. on July 4 at the Pensacola Bayfront.

“Pensacola residents and visitors are invited to bring picnic blankets, chairs, and radios to secure the best spots along Bayfront Parkway,” the release said.

“Join us for an explosive evening as we light up the sky and celebrate our nation’s independence in spectacular style.”
