People Have a Lot of Feelings About Hoda Kotb's "Today" Show Promotion
The Today show has found its replacement for Matt Lauer, and it's someone already in the family: Hoda Kotb. The journalist, who has already hosted the 10 a.m. hour with Kathie Lee Gifford, was officially named the permanent co-anchor Tuesday morning.
Kotb and Savannah Guthrie will co-anchor the 7 a.m. through 9 a.m. hours of the Today show, and Kotb will continue hosting the fun, wine-fueled 10 a.m. hour with Gifford.
