This Photo of Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner Kissing Is Highly Cinematic
Karlie Kloss and her new fiancé Josh Kushner (the more liberal brother of Jared Kushner who notably donated $50k to March for Our Lives and attended it) gave Instagram the most cinematic kissing photo last night. "PDA ??," Kloss captioned literally. "Thank you @jr for this amazing pic."
This is a very rare, excessively kissy photo from Kloss and Kushner, who have kept their relationship primarily out of the public eye. But going public with your engagement changes a lot. On July 24, Kloss posted the verbal equivalent of that photo, writing to Kushner, "I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over."
The kissing pic also acted as another role call for celebs celebrating Kloss's romance to Kushner. Gal Gadot, Chrissy Teigen, Reese Witherspoon, Priyanka Chopra, Cara Delevingne, and Lily Aldridge were among the many who liked the post.
Interestingly-and either meaningfully or meaninglessly-missing? Kloss's friend Taylor Swift, who hasn't publicly congratulated Kloss on her engagement yet. Kloss's kissing post gave Swift a nice, quiet opportunity to express her support-and calm down fans worried about their relationship, as Kloss was also photographed chilling with Swift's ex Harry Styles this week. She hasn't taken it yet, but you can like a post at any time. And also, just as importantly: friends can congratulate friends privately. Swift has mostly chosen to keep her friendships off social media for the last year so it doesn't seem likely Swift will be liking anything a squad member posts; and Kloss did apparently say in a Chinese interview that she plans to go to Swift's show. Kloss's birthday is today too, giving Swift the chance to post a birthday tribute-something her friends still do for her even if their hangouts aren't public.
