Pink's Routine Involves Everything From Wake Surfing To 32-Mile Bike Rides
ICYMI, singer and performer Pink is pretty much a total badass. She's a killer musical artist, mother to two lil' kiddos—daughter Willow Sage, 8, and son Jameson Moon, 3—and wife to husband Carey Hart.
On top of that, the three-time Grammy winner has a super strong, toned body, which she hones doing everything from yoga (she once did crow pose with her son on her back) to biking to surfing waves near her California home. Oh, and did I mention she's also basically a full-fledged gymnast? (More on that later.) In between the sports and acrobatics, she also trains with fitness coach Jeanette Jenkins (yep, they've been doing virtual workouts like the rest of us.)
Pink's also known for her body-positive mindset. She's publicly celebrated her thunder thighs, and has talked openly about how her own body image has evolved over the years. But it wasn't always that way for the Get The Party Started singer: In an interview with Billboard, Pink recalled going to fittings earlier in her career and feeling "fat" despite the fact that looking back she realizes she was "so thin." Today, she says she's learned how to appreciate her body: "Now I'm almost 150 pounds, and I look f*cking awesome," Pink said.
If you want to embrace Pink's active way of life, come right this way. The singer's "go big or go home" approach to fitness will make you wanna grab your workout gear and get your sweat on, too.
1) She Loves A Good Wake Surf
In this caption, Pink wrote: "I always wondered why God gave me thunder thighs. It's cause he knew I'd use them." (Yesss, girl.) And what's she using them for here? Wake surfing, of course. Pink and her fam are always down for spending some serious time on the water.
2) She's A Total Yogi
As you can see, Pink is very much a seasoned yogi. In this video she looks strong AF, holding up her kiddo while doing the insanely hard crow pose. (Which can take, ahem, years to master.)
3) She's Got A Strong Tennis Game
In this caption Pink summed up her love of the game with this simple statement: "Tennis is my favorite season." She and her S.O. love tennis so much that they even dressed as tennis legends Billie Jean King and John McEnroe one time. And ICYMI, the singer has called Billie her "personal hero," too.
4) She's A Literal Aerial Gymnast
If you've seen any of Pink's live performances, you'll know that she can literally sing for an audience while also doing the splits while suspended on ropes high above the crowd (NBD!). Only someone with major athletic chops could pull off such a feat.
5) She Builds Muscle Like No Other
Pink values building muscle over everything, which is why she dedicated the caption of this gym selfie to express just that sentiment: "Would you believe I'm 160 pounds and 5'3"? By 'regular standards' that makes me obese. I know I'm not at my goal or anywhere near it after Baby 2 but dammit I don't feel obese. The only thing I'm feeling is myself."
Most importantly, though? Pink says it's crucial to "stay off that scale ladies!"
6) She Trusts Her Body And Values Strength
Pink remembers going to a fitting years ago, thinking she looked bigger than her usual size, and not wanting to wear anything that showed off her new figure, she said in an interview with Billboard. "I was so thin. That's what we do to ourselves, and we should stop it," she said. "And now I'm almost 150 pounds, and I look f*cking awesome."
These days, Pink's fully embraced her muscular, strong physique.
"I always wondered why God gave me thunder thighs. It's cause he knew I'd use them."
